The RenoPont online calculator was developed by the experts of the RenoHUb project and BME (Budapest University of Technology and Economics). The aim of the calculator is to provide users an approximate picture of the energy performance of their home after entering certain building characteristics. The calculator supplements the data provided by the user with average data from national building typology, so that the homeowner does not need to provide detailed and difficult-to-access technical data. The outputs of the calculator are estimated energy use, energy rating and carbon emissions.

The RenoPont online calculator is free to use after a quick registration (name and email). As there is opportunity to run several calculations, you can try out how much less energy your home will consume after certain renovations and what energy rating your home could achieve.

More information and the calculator can be found here (in Hungarian).
